Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully, everyone has had a restful, restorative holiday with their families. That’s how people describe holidays right? Restful and restorative? I kid.

So far my new year has been great and I have been able to do a lot of self-reflecting. I will post more about that on my new blog https://thestressedteacher.blog/. However, this will be my last post on this blog because the name is no longer fitting. The Likely Spinster is no longer who I am. Why you ask? During my “year of single” (2-ish years ago) which was ultimately a failure, I met the man who I will be calling my life partner. So, in hindsight, it wasn’t really a failure. This past weekend we got engaged! Now I’m not a girl who really thought about getting married or has any idea what my wedding is going to look like or be like, but I’m so excited to enter this new chapter of my life. I cannot think of a person I’d rather spend my life with.

I will keep this site active but I will no longer be publishing here. I appreciate everyone who reads my blog and I hope you will come over to my new site and check out what I have to offer. I haven’t been writing much, but hopefully this year I can get back into it.
